Keeping a paying job is no joke as Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to make more and more jobs obsolete.
What do you do when it gets to you?
Here’s How To Keep Getting Paid
Human-centered Work Will Become More Valuable

- AI trainers, auditors, and ethics specialists
- People who manage, customize, or integrate AI tools into businesses
- Jobs that combine human judgment + AI (healthcare, law, education, design)
- These roles often require re-skilling, not starting from zero.
So, the message is clear. You will always have a job if what you do enhances or provides a service that AI can’t. Don’t wait until it’ too late. Begin setting yourself up for being “re-skilled” that is re-training.If you see yourself in a job that an AI can do, now is the time to begin moving toward a job that an AI cannot do.
What jobs can an AI do? Anything a computer can do: checker in a store, stock broker, travel agent, computer programmer, secretary, phone answering service, driver of just about anything, and more. Lots more.
Don’t wait until you are unemployed because there are no jobs left that you qualify for. These people will be known as the permanently unemployed and will find themselves on Universal Government Assistance (UGA) – for the rest of their lives. Permanently unemployed means just that.
These people will live lives of whatever UGA will pay for – including their housing, food, vacations or the lack thereof, clothing, media, telephones. Everything. Not a pretty scenario, I’m sure you’d agree.
