Fiction Writers! Have your characters market for you with a faux cell phone

Posted on February 8, 2020 by Wayne English

Marketing is a bear no matter how you look at it. Well, here’s a tool that we bet you’ve never heard of before: having your fictional characters market for you. Yes, you read that right. And because your characters are in the spotlight they can have relationship(s) with your readers. So, that’s what we mean when we write, ‘…having your fictional characters market for you’ because that’s what they’re doing.

I found this tool in the excellent article
Let Your Characters Engage with Fans Online written by Sandra Beckwith. Sandra, thank you for this. It is much appreciated.

As I mentioned on LinkedIn, I’ll be telling my writer’s groups about this and promoting it online. There’s serious potential here.
