Add A LogIn Link to Your WordPress Menu, Here’s How

Here’s an easy up-grade for your WordPress site that saves time and is easy to do. What’s it look like? Look like? That’s easy. just look at the menu on this site. What, you say? You can’t see the menu because your using a phone? No problem, just pull down the menu by pokeiing the hamburger at top left.

Okay, here’s a list of what you will be doing. If you’ve not done this before just go slow and take your time. Let’s do this!

1. Go to your Login page and copy the address in your web address bar to your clipboard. Note: it will start with: http….
2. On your dashboard, hover your mouse on Appearance
3. Click Menus
4. Click Custom Links
5. Where you see: URL, paste the contents of your clipboard. And where you see Link Text enter LogIn. Now click the Add to Menu button.
6. Where you see: URL
7. WordPress adds your latest addition to the bottom of the menu, to relocate it just drag and drop it where you want. And Your Done!
8. If you don’t like it, or want to remove it for any reason just click on the down arrow on the right of the item you just added and click the Remove link.
