Still think content is king? It’s not. Never was.
Promotion is king because promotion informs people that your content exists, why they need to consume it, and how to access it.
We are not suggesting, or recommending, paid promotion. Whether you promote it yourself, or work with others is up to you. But you do need to promote your content to the people who it can help, entertain, inform.
