Deepfake technology is not a joke. While they have legitimate uses, they are also used to mislead, lie, promote propaganda, and to harass innocent people.
What’s a Deepfake?
They are the intentional altering of images, sound, and/or video. A deepfake and put your face on a video that you never made or even knew existed. It can alter background, and more. Lots more.
Software
Software to make a deepfake is available online. And while mostly political and business people have the most to lose from deepfakes, you may as well.
So, stay alert. And don’t get so depressed if one of these things comes your way. Do NOT hurt yourself. Stay strong. Don’t give in, give out, give up, back up, back down, or go away mad. You’re what’s important not some looser who has so little self esteem that they got to hurt others to feel good about their miserable lives.
