How do you define Communication? Here’s how we do.

Posted on August 11, 2020 by Wayne English

Communication is the most important of all important concepts. Effective, understandable content is paramount. So, we define it like this:

Communication is the act of causing the thought in your mind to exist in the mind of the information consumer.

Simple, isn’t it? Yet, oh so difficult to do. You may accomplish this by writing, creating, for the end user. Don’t write for your sales staff. don’t write for you engineers. Write for your customers and clients. Make your content relevant to them. Use their language and vocabulary. Present material relevant to their needs.

Do that and your goose will lay golden eggs. Don’t and your goose is cooked.
