Social networking is about people; not technology

Posted on January 20, 2020 by Wayne English

Don’t be fooled by the technology, social networking is all about giving your followers the content they desire, how they desire it, and where they desire it.

Social networking is content. Good content; good social networking. Poor content; poor social networking.

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and all the rest

These sites are great, no question, no argument. They just are, but they are no more than the medium you use to contact your followers.

We’ve gone from newsletters to newspapers to radio to TV to social networking. These SN sites are only the latest form that publishing has taken.

So, the message? Don’t get enamored with technology. Spend your time creating and then publishing content.
