Writers, Join A Writers Group

Every writer wants to write better. Wants to be more successful. No surprise there.

But how to actually do that is less obvious.

Well, there is nothing better than getting together with other writers and having your work critiqued. Nothing, believe me. So, find some other writers and get together once or twice per month. Read and comment on each others work. You will not be sorry.

There is only one thing, get with people you respect and who want to get better. Just meeting with people who don’t really care about the work will end in failure.

Remember this: members cannot be allowed to insult or put others down others. Only allow people to say good things about each other.

A good technique is to send members writing to the group, so everyone can read and comment on the written work and later give the author the marked up work itself.
